So I reset my game, and I'm really regretting it. I can't figure out how to make enough money to gear up! The weapons are covered now of course, but I can't seem to get enough money to buy some property and gear up! I was bored and wanted a challenge. I got it. I'm level 12.

*Also- I'm noticing that sometime when I attempt to attack or chain attack people, instead of getting higher payoffs the bar is gray and says something like "Looks like this is the most you'll get from this person" Any idea?

Well, I hit 15 today, and figured it out. I just need to collect whatever bounties I can. I'll be alright

I reset a while ago. Bounty collections are a big help, but this game is no longer race through the lower levels.  You gotta slow down a bit and camp.  It took me 6 weeks to get to level 20.  And that was because I needed to make sure I had the income to but a the gear and pay for them.   I only rampage when I can kill.  I only quest the drop item stuff (power crystal, dragon scale and eggs) and only when I'm so close to leveling that it's driving me absolutely crazy. 

I don't bank much gold and use it all to buy land.  That's my new lower level strategy.

I have been leveling too fast. I FINALLY got all my lvl 15 gear, and before I knew it I was 20 and had to buy all new gear!

Luckily there was a 360million bounty up, covered my upgrades. There's a 1billion bounty on me though. I wish I could collect that.

What is special about the special drop item quests? I've just been questing to get more secrets so far.

Yeah, I bank on my royalties- I don't want to lose them! But I invest my bounties immediately.

As you level up, quests become available to turn those drop items into weapons, like 10 dragon eggs can get you a Staff of Teleportation, 5 dragon scales can get to a Protective Amulet, power crystals can get you something I never was able to get. I don't even remember the name.

You need to add blood to get the chance to drop those items.  Right now, I'm not interested in them.  Just camping and banking and killing (almost never quest unless I'm really close to leveling) and adding zen to defense and attack.  Got all the props I need right now (@level 33) so I'm banking until I get to level 36, when the new gear and properties become available. 

I reset two months ago, and I'm only at 33.  The funny thing is, the first time around, two months into the game I was at level 85 and a broke-ass Vampire; now I'm a rich level 33 Overlord making more than my Vampire did!  Not leveling so fast is the new way to play.
