I seem to get a lot of people complaining to me that I attack them too often.  I've seen a lot of people say that they only do "1 or 2 hits per person".  Does that mean 2 "clicks" of the mouse (ie only getting to chained attack #2)?  Or does that mean they do 2 full chained attacks for 2 max payouts (it like 10 attacks)?   For me I usually just keep attacking someone until it says that their health is too low which is usually 2 full chained attacks (10hits?).  Since I ALWAYS try to get 2 XP, preferably 3, per hit, I ONLY attack people higher level than me with around the same or higher court/pack sizes.  Does that seem fair or am I considered 'rude'? Its not like I'm going around slaughtering people lower than me that only give me 1xp per hit...

When someone says "2 hits" I assume it to me they push the "battle" button (or fight or whatever) twice.  To me it depends on how you want to play the games.  There are some on this forum that chain attack for different reasons (exp, or to get on the slayers list, etc...) so I'd say it depends on your game style.  If you attack people that are higher level and have equal or more courts/pack/coven sizes, then I see no problem with that.  I know I hate getting chained attack myself and I typically only attack 3x unless I'm going after someone on the Slayers list.  But I also know chain attacks are part of the game and if you're going to play you have to accept that others will play the game differently - so in the end, I get annoyed and take it out on someone even more unfortunate than me!

I will chain attack if it's a "good" payout, but before I do it I usually check stats to see if they're the type to bounty or not.  I pretty much just go down the list if I'm rampaging, not very discriminant about it.  But I won't pick on someone with an obviously lesser character/army unless they're abandoned accounts (read: they have an incredible amount of losses, very few wins, and no hires).  And I never farm.

People that complain about getting a chain attack are most likely big on the Storm8 games.  One of the things I like about AS games is the chain-attack system (note: not the payout system), which should imply that this has a far more active fight system than any of the S8 games.  Unfortunately, most people aren't able to pick up on that, despite the big yellow bar and the message urging them to "attack for more money".  Maybe they don't ever attack and therefore never actually see that, maybe they just think they're special, who knows.  I will say that if you were to do two full chain attacks on me like you're saying you do, I'd probably beat the hell out of ya once I improved my stats.
