I am sure these sound like uber-noob questions - but I have made it to level 21 so far and I don't know the answers:

How do I know when I have been attacked? -  So far as I can tell I never have been or I just don't know it.

How do I know when someone declares war on me? - I have declared war on someone else and made a chunk of change off of them but will I know if someone is doing the same to me?

***EDIT:  OK scratch the second question...I just saw on the War Screen that it lists "Wars declared on your empire"...guess I shoulda just opened my eyes.

when someone attacks you or you attack someone just look on the main page, scroll down to see the last few attacks. you can also use this area to repeat attacks one after another to drain someone of their money, just click on their name were it says who you beat.
